Plural parenting \u2013 comparing parenting experiences<\/b><\/i><\/div>\n

\nPlural Parenting is the Gay Help Line's discussion and mutual support group, aimed at parents of LGBTQIA+ people and LGBTQIA+ people experiencing parenthood.<\/p>\n

The group is part of the Gay Help Line's listening, welcoming, and support efforts: a space for discussing doubts, changes, and difficulties.
\nA safe space for discussion<\/p>\n

The group brings together diverse experiences, without overlapping: on the one hand, LGBTQIA+ people experiencing parenthood and dealing, for example, with relationships with school, services, family networks, and visibility; on the other, parents of LGBTQIA+ people who may be at different stages of their journey, struggling with the need for alliance with their children, questions, misunderstandings, concerns, and emotions.<\/p>\n

It is not a therapy or a course: it is a space among peers, facilitated and open to sharing, where mutual experience and care can help you feel less alone.<\/p>\n

Who is it for?<\/b>
\nThe group is open to:
\n\u2013 parents of LGBTQIA+ people;
\n\u2013 LGBTQIA+ people who are parents.<\/p>\n

Meeting calendar<\/b>
\nThe meetings are held from 8pm to 10pm at the Gay Center, via Galvani 51F
