{"id":1326,"date":"2023-01-23T16:02:09","date_gmt":"2023-01-23T15:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gaycenter.it\/?p=1326"},"modified":"2023-01-23T16:02:09","modified_gmt":"2023-01-23T15:02:09","slug":"29-gennaio-pedalando-nella-memoria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gaycenter.it\/en\/29-gennaio-pedalando-nella-memoria\/","title":{"rendered":"JANUARY 29 | PEDALING INTO MEMORY"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xdj266r\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>PEDALING INTO MEMORY 2023<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>XIX MEMORIAL SETTIMIA SPIZZICHINO<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Pedalando nella Memoria is repeated again this year, on the day of <strong>Sunday, January 29, 2023<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe event was born from the need to make the new generations more involved and aware of the events that took place in Rome during the Second World War.<br \/>\nThe \u201c<strong>pedaling<\/strong>\u201c, crossing some of the places symbolic of the dramatic events of those years, aims to preserve the memory and to reconnect the threads of memory through the experiences and stories of those who lived through them, to understand, recognize and combat old and new discriminations, as well as to serve as a warning to current and future generations, so that what happened must never happen again.<br \/>\nThe event also aims to spread a message of hope and peace for the future, through participation and sharing in a bike ride.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><em><strong>Plan<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>9:30 a.m. Tiburtina Station \u2013 \u201cMemory Track\u201d<\/strong> from where the trains, loaded with deportees, departed for the concentration camps.<br \/>\nPerformance by the Sgarbatello Choir of Villetta<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>10:15 a.m. Zingari Street \u2013 Monti District<\/strong>, the place where the plaque commemorating all the Roma, Sinti, and Camminanti who died in the extermination camps was installed. To participate, simply show up at the meeting point or one of the stops at the scheduled time and start pedaling.<\/strong><br \/>\nRiders can, of course, leave the group at any time.
