The LGBTQIA+ Intercultural Help Desk (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer, Intersexual, Asexual and more) offers support and assistance to migrants who face discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.
The service provides legal assistance, psychological support, intercultural mediation, and support activities related to political refugee status or international protection applicants based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
In particular, the service offers welcome and orientation interviews and provides access to the following professional consultancy services:
– legal support in exercising one's rights to remain in the country of arrival;
– counseling or psychological support with an ethnographic and affirmative approach;
– social mediation in accessing health services, education, training, employment, and housing.
