NPS Italia Onlus was officially founded on April 19, 2004, and is founded exclusively by HIV+ people active in the fields of prevention, awareness, information, and psychosocial support for HIV-AIDS-related issues, both regionally and nationally. It is a team that operates independently and is open to other organizations dealing with chronic diseases, in the common interest of the Right to Health and Quality of Life. NPS is a constantly evolving association and aims to both increase projects and scientific updates in the fight against AIDS, as well as social prevention projects, publishing journals, organizing events, participating in courses and conferences, and promoting psychosocial projects for people with HIV/AIDS.
