Following the case of Cavour High School in Rome where a transgender student had suffered discrimination from one of his teachers, despite the school having already recognized the right to an alias career (an alternative profile on the class register and school documents, which requires the use of the chosen name instead of the real one) we asked – he declares Pietro Turano, Spokesperson for the Gay Center, an official meeting at the Minister of Education Giuseppe Valditara. The Minister had in fact spoken out against discrimination immediately following the episode.
