For the first time in Italy, Leroy Mokgatle will be among the artists at the international dance gala Les Étoiles.
Born in South Africa and raised in the Zurich and Berlin Ballets, Leroy Mokgatle belongs to what the New York Times calls “a rising generation of gender-nonconforming dancers who are challenging rigid gender roles in ballet.”.
Representing diversity, including eliminating gender barriers, is a must. Leroy Mokgatle's message is simple and direct: dance is for everyone!
