WHAT IS THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT – CHANGE WORDS TO CHANGE THE WORLD
‘'The Butterfly Effect' is a free online course for middle and high school teachers and educators who work with young people aged 11 to 19. It focuses on the issues of bullying and hate speech and how to provide young people with the necessary support to prevent and combat it.
The program was organized by the following organizations: Cospe, Zaffiria, Lunaria, Amnesty International, the Department of Sociology and Economic Law of the University of Bologna, Carta di Roma, CoNNGI – National Coordination of New Generations, Oxfam Italia, Aidos, OSVIC, Emergency, Libera, Gay Center, and the Tuscany Region.
THE ATELIER IN THE PRESENCE OF GAY CENTER
Gay Help Line leverages its experience in education, counseling, and family mediation to offer teachers and educators a workshop, an in-person workshop on combating homophobic and transphobic bullying.
The course addresses the issues of gender identification and affectivity, to offer reliable information and tools for dialogue with boys and girls, to recognize bullying situations.
The workshop lasts 5 hours and takes place in the afternoon at the Gay Center.
