Training for individuals

If you are interested in training on issues concerning the LGBTQIA+ community, the course SOS Gay Help Line training this is the one for you.

The training offers a theoretical and practical study on:

  • LGBTQIA+ identity and relationships, stereotypes and prejudices homophobic, gender violence, existing protections and rights, LGBT+ affirming psychoeducational support practice;
  • knowledge of our services, of the action objectives and management methods of the Gay Help Line on level I and II.

The course trains volunteers for the national anti-homotransphobia contact center so that they can collaborate as telephone and chat line operators.

The training takes place every 6 months in April/May and October/November and lasts 2 weekends.

It takes place in person at the Gay Center headquarters in Rome, in full immersion mode.
