Thanks to Netflix for coloring Rome's Colosseum metro station rainbow-colored for Pride Month, following their move to Milan's Porta Venezia metro station, now a permanent rainbow installation.
In 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic, a survey by the Gay Center association selected the Colosseo metro station as the preferred metro station to repeat the initiative, chosen among five other stations. We hope that, as happened in Milan, the Colosseo metro station will continue to be rainbow-colored even after June.
