Many LGBTQIA+ girls and boys experience separation from their families or the burden of social discrimination. This project aims to create a register of "Hospitality Providers, Units, and Families" who offer temporary hospitality to LGBTQIA+ girls in vulnerable situations.
To become a host family you must:
– make available for reception for a period ranging from a few days to 12 months
– provide a serene atmosphere in order to be able to support, guide and welcome young people
The person responsible for the reception must also:
– be over 30 years old
– have a room for the young girl
– have adequate economic capacity for the young person
– receive adequate training on LGBT issues
– maintain constant contact with a tutor indicated by the association
The association will provide training, supervision and reimbursement for the young person's necessary travel.
