The podcast is freely inspired by the authors' stories of the girls and boys who have found shelter and support thanks to the Refuge project, founded by Fabrizio Marrazzo in 2016, which has two shelters, protected in secret locations, which respectively host eight LGBT young people and three trans* people, all victims of discrimination and violence.
Refuge provides hospitality and support to young people who have been victims of hatred and discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. This project has helped many people find a way out of situations of serious abuse and physical and/or psychological violence.
