Hello, Who Am I?
On the occasion of Coming Out Day, the Gay Center volunteer company “Fili d'Italia” presents a show inspired by the stories of those they assist.
🗓️October 11, 8:00 PM
📍“Antonio Cerone” Cinema Hall” – Via Natale Balbiani snc (street level, near the Municipio VI headquarters)
➡️ entrance upon reservation https://gaycenter.it/prontochisono
Gay Help Line is a support service for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, non-binary, and intersex people. The service welcomes and supports those experiencing discrimination, hatred, or homophobic/transphobic violence.
Every day, volunteer operators answer the toll-free number 800713713 and the Speakly chat.
This show opens the door to their scene: you go on stage to deconstruct beliefs, overturn stereotypes, dismantle patterns, and undo certainties. Hello, who are they?
The Gay Help Line 800 713 713 service is supported by UNAR - Presidency of the Council, Lazio Region, Municipality of Rome, 8×1000 funds from the Soka Gakkai Buddhist Institute, the Waldensian Church, and donations from companies and private individuals.
We would like to thank Municipio VI for hosting the show as part of the activities of the LGBTQIA+ Help Desk at the Municipal Single Access Point.
NB: Free admission, donations are welcome. Donations will go to support "Refuge LGBT+," our family home for LGBTQIA+ girls who have suffered rejection and violence after coming out.
